Deserted settlements in the basin of the Zdíkovský stream as part of landscape memory in the Czech borderland

The thesis deals with the topic of landscape memory, especially with the historical landscape structures present in the landscape of borderland during the post-war expulsion of its inhabitants. These are material reminders of the past, the former settlement and land use and in some cases can still serve an ecological function, have aesthetic, educational or historical value or the value of a landscape symbol. The aim of the thesis is to find, document, evaluate, research the state and discuss the significance and use of historical landscape structures from this period. In the research part, the work deals with the problematics of changes in the landscape, its memory and historical landscape structures in the context of the post-war expulsion of its inhabitants. In the practical part, the author documents the occurrence of landscape structures at the time of expulsion using historical aerial photographs and the current orthophoto, digital model of relief 5G and field research using the software QField. Ochrana historických krajinných struktur v plánech rozvoje území

The thesis works with a theme of historical landscape structures with a focus on their identification, taxonomy and protection. First part deals with theoretical base, its forms, ways of identification, its bonds with a cultural landscape and temporary valid laws dealing with its protection either from the view of the nature and landscape protection or heritage conservation, in general. In the next part we see the results of the research of the old maps, literature and terrain research of the area of interest, which is placed around the town of Rosice. The outcome of that is the cataloging of the local historical landscape structures. Then the planing documentation of the town was studied with the focus on eventual threats to the found historical structures. The main outcome of the thesis is a concept of the areal study with the optimal attitude to the conservation of the found structures and their renewal. Meanwhile the concept deals with a supplementation of the vegetal elements and of the landscape context and also accents the sustainable developement.

The bachelor thesis deals with historical landscape structures that are results of our ancestors´ activities. Primary, secondary and tertiary landscape structures influence forming of landscape character. HLS participate in esthetic, ecological as well as cultural and historical values of the landscape. They contribute to habitability of our landscape. For enabling to sustain the HLS, it is necessary to identify and evaluate them. For these purposes, a typology is presented according to individual authors and with the following evaluation. In this thesis, HLS was divided into groups according to Zemánková, which were then evaluated. The methodology was verified using a model territory of village Chlumec, where HLS were identified, classified and evaluated. For evaluating HLS, it is necessary to recognize and understand the landscape correctly. For these purposes, historical foundation maps that record our ancestors´ use of landscape were applied. These maps show clearly that the land used to be divided into little fields and the forestation was smaller than today. The gained knowledge about HLS is presented in results as well as a design of their preservation and aftercare.

Stony routes in the Broumov walls and their importance for identity formation of landscape and region

The thesis deals with the analysis of current condition and heritage of old stony routes in the Broumov walls. These routes were built from variously sized sandstone blocks of local origin. The routes are specific for the area of interest and they have their long history. The aim of the thesis is, with the example of the Broumov walls, to discuss the importance of the old routes as specific historical landscape structures and local heritage for shaping of the identity of the region and its specific character. Regional identity, heritage and historical landscape structures belong to key concepts introduced in the theoretical part. Significance of the routes as a specific kind of the heritage and an integral part of local cultural landscape is discussed. In the empirical part of the thesis, results of a partial inventory of stony routes in the Broumov walls, which have been done during research, are introduced. The result is shown in attached maps. The inventory was focused on classification of the routes by degree of conservation of the original character and by ways of use today. The diploma thesis deals with historical landscape structures (HLS). They are an integral part of today's cultural landscape and a legacy of past generations. They are preserved remains of traditional, sustainable landscape management and they are increasing the natural and cultural diversity of the environment. Despite their importance, historical landscape structures are not legally protected. The practical part of thesis deals with historical landscape structures in the Badin cadastral area. Beside the HLS evaluation, the main goal is to provide an outcome for a community -- Selected historical landscape structures management proposal for Badin cadastral area.

The thesis deals with the analysis of landscape and the evaluation of the area. On the example model of the cadastral city Lázně Bohdaneč was made relevant landscape analysis of the primary, secondary and tertiary landscape structure. Natural , cultural and aesthetic values of the area were determined as well as limits of the use. An important part of the thesis was to evaluate the character of the landscape and the identification and evaluation of historic landscape structures. The proposed measure is based on the analysis and evaluation of that area. They focus especially on the reconstruction and maintenance of the important historic landscape structures, that are also the significant positive features of the landscape. Another proposal level is to ensure the protection of nature, improvement of recreational use, elimination of negative character of landscape and optimization of using that lan d including economic use. The output is the design of the territory arrangement in the form of spatial studies, that can serve as a basis for the detailed design of the landscape conservation area and the provision in it. It can also be an important basis for complex land adjustments.

Analýza historických krajinných struktur

This thesis deals with theme of historical landscape structures which are the preserved relics of human activity. The structures participate in shaping the cultural, historical as well as ecological and aesthetical value. Literary section summarizes the basic knowledge of historical landscape structures with the attention to importance and possibility of their protection. The main output of this thesis is proposal of typology and procedure for evaluation of historical landscape structures. They were divided into seven basic types according to the purpose of their formation. Their evaluation is based on determining of result value which is derived from a seven parameters -- time of formation, the degree of preservation and utilization, visual impact of structure, influence on landscape composition and character and uniqueness of historical structure in a regional scale. The methodology was tested on two model areas - Svojanov and Hlásnice, in which historical landscape structures were identified, described and evaluated through the recording sheet. Considering achieved results, the methodical procedure seems to be used for determining of cultural and historical values in landscape and for creating of landscape plan.
